Helping you reach your feeding goals with compassion.

Virtual Lactation Support

Breastfeeding is natural, but it doesn’t always come naturally. We understand the challenges, the pain, the frustration, and the endless questions when it feels like you’re doing everything right but it’s still not working.

At Aloha Nutrition, we offer personalized support to help you overcome these hurdles and make breastfeeding a positive experience for both you and your baby.

Breastfeeding Help with Aloha Nutrition’s IBCLCs

You have enough on your plate – let us simplify your breastfeeding journey. Here’s how our 1:1 Breastfeeding Support, which is available for both virtual and home consults, works:

step one:

Initial Consultation: Book a 60-minute 1:1 Breastfeeding Consult where we discuss your goals, challenges, and breastfeeding history. We do weighted feeds, assess your flanges, pumping process, and more. We’ll also go through positioning techniques, latch correction and address any potential issues like tongue ties.

step two:

Ongoing Support: Enjoy two weeks of unlimited text/phone/email support after your consultation, with additional support available on a subscription basis.

Our 1:1 Breastfeeding Support is perfect for you if:

You're struggling with painful latch or breast pain.

You suspect your baby has a lip or tongue tie.

You're dealing with engorgement, plugged ducts, or mastitis.

Your baby is refusing the breast or is a fussy eater.

Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve been offering virtual breastfeeding support since COVID, which means we’ve had years of experience helping families navigate even the most challenging breastfeeding issues remotely.

Through video, we’re able to visually assess positioning and latch, guide you through an oral assessment, and even review flange sizing — all from the comfort of your own home.

We get it — it makes sense to think breastfeeding support needs to be hands-on. But time and time again, our clients tell us that virtual consults were more helpful than what they received in the hospital or even in person.

Stay cozy on your couch or bed — wherever you typically nurse — and let us support you, no matter where you’re located.

We currently accept a variety of insurance plans that cover virtual, office, and in-home visits for clients with:

  • Aetna (select states)
  • First Health
  • First Choice Health
  • Imagine Health
  • Meritain (select states)
  • Multiplan
  • PNOA
  • Sutter Health
  • UHC (although United will not cover virtual consults at this time)
  • VA CCN – Optum East (regions 1-3)
  • Velocity
If you have any of the above, please fill out your information via The Lactation Network.

If you have Cigna, please fill out your information via Wildflower.

If you are out of network, we can provide a medical receipt (Superbill) for possible reimbursement.

A single session can save you hours of frustration and hundreds on formula—this is an investment that pays off.
